Shungudzevana Trust is a registered Private Voluntary Organisation Reg No// PVO3/2000 with our primary objectives being:

1.) To establish a normal life for disadvantaged children by identifying foster homes to provide shelter, parental guidance, and access to school, healthy diet and decent clothing.

2.) To provide foster parents with educational skills and financial support.3.To assist needy children with school fees, school uniforms and examination fees up to six form, college if need to be and provide skills training courses.

4.) To establish training courses and income generating projects such as Market gardening, Baking, Chicken breeding, Peanut butter making, candle Making and Pig raring.

It is against this background that we find the drive to come up with innovative life support that our foster parents benefit from. In this funding request we have modeled this project which has a twin barrel effect, in that not only is it addressing the plight of orphaned children it is also addressing the plight of economically disempowered mothers who are the bulk of our foster parents.
